Mardis Gras - Aftermath

"Howdy."

Bobby and his band played at Mardis Gras. Here are the quick highlights. (And yes - he's way cooler than me, but ya'll knew that).

1)  Got a Motorcade escorting them from the Airport to the Hotel.

2) He got to meet and attend Mardis Gras with  Harry Connick Jr., Mariska Hargitay, Hilary Swank, Bret Michaels, Cyndi Lauper, Guy from Nickelback, and... that's all I can remember.

3) They were immediately booked for Mardis Gras 2013.

Mr. James and his band "Party Crashers" are playing in New Orleans during Mardis Gras. 

This is Bobby's signature cheese-tastic pose when taking pictures with famous peeps. 

They're playing at an event known as the "Krewe of Orpheus" which was started by Harry Connick Jr. in 1993. 

Mr. James is having a lovely time.

(p.s. He's promised me he's going to earn lots of beads).

Bobby is often told he looks like Clay Aiken (much to his chagrin).

Complete strangers will often Bobby and say:
"Do you know who you look like!? Clay -"
STAB!
(Naturally, we kill the person before s/he can finish the sentence.)


I have been told I look like Debbie Gibson, twice.

Important Lesson

Tonight, the James family learned an important lesson.

DO NOT GET EXPANDING FOAM ON YOUR HAND!!!!

Mr. James was doing a little maintenance which resulted in his hands becoming Level 10 - sticky-fied. 

 I mean, he could climb to the tops of tall buildings with his hands - they are so sticky. That is - if he could remove his hand from the wall once he placed it on there.

In the above picture, Mr. James has been soaking his hand for 40 Minutes.
