So, when I drove into Salt Lake to see a movie at the Broadway Theater with my Woody Allen friend Heather--here's what happened:
I'm driving down 500 South on the left side of the road-It's a one way street. Suddenly, some !@#$#* Prius driver is just heading straight at me! So, I do what any driver does and flip them off.
"Stupid Utah Drivers," I muttered.
That's when the GIANT HOSTESS DELIVERY TRUCK came barreling down the lane-- about to crash into me!
My aggressive, yet dextrous driving skills allowed me--and the Hostess Delivery Truck Man --to escape unscathed.
That's when I found out... that 500 South is actually a Two Way Street that TURNS into a One Way Street.
What can I say, I used to be a good driver, honest.
However, 2 things happened.
I moved to Boston for 18 months and became a pedestrian--I did not drive ONCE during my graduate school years.
I got married--and I haven't even opened my own car door in 2 years.
So, if you see a blonde woman, mouth agape, driving a brown 1993 Honda Accord ... it's best to get in the farthest lane away from it.
